ABOUT
I am a painter based in Amsterdam. My work is rooted in lived experience, exploring the relationship between health, the body, and the ways we navigate everyday life. Through expressive, colourful paintings that move between figuration and abstraction, I reflect on themes of vulnerability, resilience, intimacy, memory, and care. While my work often begins with personal experience, I seek to create images that speak to universal emotions and shared human experiences.
I hold a BA in Art History from the University of Amsterdam and a Research MA in Curating Arts & Cultures, a joint programme of the University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I also completed the mentorship programme at Turps Art School in London.
My work is included in the permanent collection of the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, as well as in private collections in the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
