Final Warning explores the emotional and psychological landscape of a world shaped by climate change. Inspired by increasingly frequent wildfires—from friends forced to flee fires in Greece and Australia to the devastating blazes across California, southern Europe, and beyond—the series intertwines environmental catastrophe with autobiographical memories. These paintings move between lived experience and imagined narratives, connecting personal experiences with the changing world around us. Rather than documenting disaster, Final Warning reflects on how climate change is no longer something distant, but something we increasingly live with.
